5-Amino-1MQ (5mg–50mg)
Description & mechanism
5-Amino-1MQ is a small-molecule inhibitor of nicotinamide N-methyltransferase (NNMT). It is used in research to investigate the role of NNMT in cellular methyl-donor metabolism, NAD+ handling, and adipocyte signalling.
Applications in research
- NNMT enzyme-inhibition and methyl-metabolism studies
- Adipocyte differentiation and metabolism in cell models
- NAD+-related pathway research
