Description & mechanism
AHK-Cu is the copper(II) complex of the tripeptide Ala-His-Lys. It is used in research to study copper-peptide interactions and their effects on dermal fibroblast and hair-follicle dermal-papilla cell models in vitro.

Specifications
Handling, reconstitution & storage
Reconstitute the lyophilized solid in sterile water or bacteriostatic diluent to the desired working concentration; mix by gentle inversion and avoid vigorous agitation or repeated freeze-thaw. Sterile-filter (0.22 µm) if aseptic use is required, aliquot into single-use volumes, and store reconstituted material frozen at -20 °C.
