AOD-9604 (2mg–5mg)
Description & mechanism
AOD-9604 is a synthetic peptide corresponding to the C-terminal fragment of human growth hormone (hGH 177–191) with an added tyrosine. It is used in research to investigate the lipolysis- and metabolism-related signalling attributed to this region of growth hormone, independent of whole-molecule growth-hormone activity.
Applications in research
- Lipolysis and adipocyte signalling studies in vitro
- Growth-hormone-fragment functional characterisation
- Adipose-tissue metabolism in experimental models
