Description & mechanism
Cagrilintide is a long-acting synthetic analogue of human amylin (islet amyloid polypeptide) used in receptor-pharmacology research. It is used in vitro to investigate amylin-receptor (calcitonin-receptor-family) signalling and its interaction with incretin pathways in metabolic models.

Specifications
Handling, reconstitution & storage
Reconstitute the lyophilized solid in sterile water or bacteriostatic diluent to the desired working concentration; mix by gentle inversion and avoid vigorous agitation or repeated freeze-thaw. Sterile-filter (0.22 µm) if aseptic use is required, aliquot into single-use volumes, and store reconstituted material frozen at -20 °C.
