Description & mechanism
Epithalon (Epitalon; sequence Ala-Glu-Asp-Gly) is a synthetic tetrapeptide modelled on the pineal peptide epithalamin. It is used in research to investigate pineal-associated signalling and telomere and telomerase biology in cell-culture models.

Specifications
Handling, reconstitution & storage
Reconstitute the lyophilized solid in sterile water or bacteriostatic diluent to the desired working concentration; mix by gentle inversion and avoid vigorous agitation or repeated freeze-thaw. Sterile-filter (0.22 µm) if aseptic use is required, aliquot into single-use volumes, and store reconstituted material frozen at -20 °C.
