Description & mechanism
HMG (human menopausal gonadotropin; menotropin) is a gonadotropin preparation with follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH) and luteinizing hormone (LH) activity. It is used in research to investigate FSH- and LH-receptor signalling in gonadal cell-culture models.

Handling, reconstitution & storage
Reconstitute the lyophilized solid gently in the supplied diluent to the desired working concentration; avoid vigorous agitation and repeated freeze-thaw. Aliquot into single-use volumes and keep reconstituted material refrigerated at 2–8 °C, protected from light.
