Description & mechanism
NAD+ (beta-nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide) is an endogenous pyridine nucleotide and an essential electron carrier in redox metabolism. It is used in research to study redox biochemistry, sirtuin and PARP NAD-dependent signalling, and energy metabolism in cell-free and cell-culture systems.

Handling, reconstitution & storage
Reconstitute the lyophilized solid in sterile water or a suitable aqueous buffer to the desired working concentration; mix by gentle inversion and avoid repeated freeze-thaw. Aliquot into single-use volumes and store reconstituted material frozen at -20 °C.
