SNAP-8 (10mg)
Description & mechanism
SNAP-8 (acetyl octapeptide-3) is a synthetic octapeptide modelled on the N-terminal sequence of SNAP-25, a component of the neuronal SNARE complex. It is used in research to investigate peptide interactions with SNARE-complex-associated processes in cell-free and cell-culture systems.
Applications in research
- SNARE/SM-protein interaction studies in vitro
- Neuroexocytosis model research
- Synthetic membrane-interacting peptide characterisation
