Description & mechanism
Tirzepatide is a synthetic peptide and dual agonist of the glucose-dependent insulinotropic polypeptide (GIP) and glucagon-like peptide-1 (GLP-1) receptors. It is used in research to characterise incretin-receptor pharmacology and downstream signalling in metabolic and endocrine models.

Specifications
Handling, reconstitution & storage
Reconstitute the lyophilized solid in sterile water or bacteriostatic diluent to the desired working concentration; mix by gentle inversion and avoid vigorous agitation or repeated freeze-thaw. Sterile-filter (0.22 µm) if aseptic use is required, aliquot into single-use volumes, and store reconstituted material frozen at -20 °C.
