Description & mechanism
BPC-157 is a synthetic pentadecapeptide (sequence GEPPPGKPADDAGLV) originally derived from human gastric juice. It is used in research to investigate its effects on cell signalling, angiogenesis, and tissue-culture models; it has no approved therapeutic use.

Specifications
Handling, reconstitution & storage
Reconstitute the lyophilized solid in sterile water or bacteriostatic diluent to the desired working concentration; mix by gentle inversion and avoid vigorous agitation or repeated freeze-thaw. Sterile-filter (0.22 µm) if aseptic use is required, aliquot into single-use volumes, and store reconstituted material frozen at -20 °C.
