Description & mechanism
DSIP (delta sleep-inducing peptide; sequence Trp-Ala-Gly-Gly-Asp-Ala-Ser-Gly-Glu) is a naturally occurring neuropeptide first isolated from cerebral dialysate. It is used in research to investigate neuropeptide signalling in neuronal and endocrine cell-culture models.

Specifications
Handling, reconstitution & storage
Reconstitute the lyophilized solid in sterile water or bacteriostatic diluent to the desired working concentration; mix by gentle inversion and avoid vigorous agitation or repeated freeze-thaw. Sterile-filter (0.22 µm) if aseptic use is required, aliquot into single-use volumes, and store reconstituted material frozen at -20 °C.
